What You'll Do

• Responsible for converting contract drawings design data for concrete reinforcement into specific placing drawings through the use of AutoCAD for large commercial projects such as high rises and tilt ups
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You'll Need

• Ability to review and interpret contract documents for advanced projects
• A good understanding of CRSI and detailing standards of practice
• Experience with Rebar Detailing Programs, preferably Autodesk/Bentley CAD/aSa/Tekla platforms preferred
• Understand project scope and sales documentation
• Ability to use critical thinking skills to solve unique problems
• Ability to use MS Excel & MS Outlook
• High level of attention to detail and focus with a commitment to accuracy
• Ability to work independently and manage your time efficiently
• Familiarity with concrete accessories, couplers, WWF mesh is a plus
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
• Must be able to visualize three dimensionally (spatial visualization)
• Experienced knowledge of rebar bend types, shapes, size, and applications for reinforced concrete
• Experienced knowledge of structural concrete members and building systems
