Job Description

RD Nutrition Consultants LLC is seeking an outpatient/wellness Registered Dietitian for 6-12 hrs/month in the area!

Schedule: Flexible, Monday-Friday during business hours of 7:00AM-6:00PM.

Compensation: $40.00-$45.00/hour DOE, plus travel compensation and mileage reimbursement.

At least 1 year of clinical experience is preferred.

RD Nutrition Consultants provides our consultants with competitive wages and flexible work schedules!

Responsibilities :

Provide nutrition services at community center locations
Complete nutritional assessments on RD consults when warranted
Provide menu reviews and recommendations to meet facility requirements
Document assessments of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
Provide education to the patients and/or family members on nutritional needs as indicated
Attend interdisciplinary meetings as assigned
Educate staff, nursing and food service staff on all aspects of meal service when warranted
Adhere to all facility’s policies and procedures including confidentiality and patient’s rights
Perform other tasks as assigned

Requirements : Candidates must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration

Experience providing general nutrition education
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience with electronic charting systems
