Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery.
- Assessing patients' conditions and administering medications.
- Developing and implementing treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Monitoring patient progress and documenting findings accurately.
- Collaborating with physicians, other nurses, and support staff.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations.
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of two years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current BLS certification.
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with EPIC electronic health record system.
Special Considerations:
- Night shift position (7 pm onwards).
- Travel position.
- Local candidates are not accepted.
- Cannot have worked permanently or as a traveler for any Beth Israel facility within the past 6 months.
- Daily overtime after 24 hours and weekly overtime after 40 hours, based on multipliers.
- On-call is not required.
Scheduling:
- Night shift (7 pm onwards).
- 36 guaranteed hours per week for 13 weeks.
