This role is for a Registered Nurse in an Emergency Room setting. The RN will provide skilled nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. A minimum of two years of experience is required, and prior travel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to emergency room patients.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Responding effectively to emergency situations.
- Managing patient flow and workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Adhering to hospital policies and procedures.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of two years of hospital experience (preferably in an emergency room setting).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Prior travel nursing experience.
Special Considerations:
- 17-bed unit with a 1:4 patient ratio.
- Meditech charting system.
- Block scheduling is not guaranteed.
- COVID-19 vaccination is highly recommended but not required.
- The position is in Amsterdam, NY.
- 3p-3a shift requires prior travel experience.

- 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shift.
