This Registered Nurse (RN) position focuses on providing skilled nursing care in an OB, Labor & Delivery (L&D), and Mother/Baby unit within a community hospital. The RN will be responsible for patient assessments, medication administration, treatment planning, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. In low census situations, the RN may be floated to assist in other areas of the facility.

Responsibilities:
- Providing skilled nursing care to OB, L&D, and Mother/Baby patients.
- Performing patient assessments, medication administration, and treatment planning.
- Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assisting in other areas of the facility as needed during low census periods.
- Charting in Paragon system.
- Performing EKGs (proctored exam on Day 1).
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- ACLS, BLS, AWHONN Fetal Monitoring, NIH, and NRP certifications.
- NIHSS certification (required at time of submission).
- Completion of 6 continuing education units (CEUs) on stroke-related topics prior to start date.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital setting (inferred from fallback template).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Scrub experience (L&D).
Special Considerations:
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
- Facility has the right to cancel up to 3 shifts at no cost during the assignment.
- Travelers from within 60 miles of the facility are not accepted.
- COVID-19 vaccination proof or declination required.
