Job Description

We are hiring a Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit (Nursing) for one of our clients in Utica, NY.

Job Description:

• Unit: ICU
• Must have experience with CRRT and Prismaflex Heart experience HIGHLY preferred - Manager looking at these as priority!
• Floating Required: Yes
• Scrub Color: Navy
• Unit Specifics: Beds: 42 beds (East 20, West 22),
• Neuro/Med: 22, CTICU: 6,
• Surg/Trauma: 14 Floating required if needed:
• To all units except Behavioral and ER (unless holding) Common patient diagnosis: Neuro/Med -Strokes, Sepsis, AMS, Neuro Intervention (TCAR), Resp Failure, CHF, Post Stemi CTICU- CV surg, Cardiogenic Shock, AAA Surg/Trauma- Trauma, Major post-op sx Specialty equipment used on unit: IABP, CRRT (PRISMA or NxStage) Ventriculostomy, ICP monitoring, TTM (Artic Sun).

Submission Requirements:

• WILL TAKE LOCALS - Local rate (less than 75 miles)
• 36 or 48 hour contracts
• CHARGE NURSE EXP IS REQUIRED
• Up to date resume that includes 2+ years of experience in ICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, MS ICU, or Neuro ICU and documents travel experience.
• 2 recent ICU Charge/Manager RN References
• Skills Checklist matching specialty Drivers licenses with address that matches demographics Current AHA ACLS , BLS, NIHSS NURSYS Report Licenses verification with ACTIVE NY License & ALL active RN licenses.
• RTO MUST be included at time of submission
• EMR Exp Required: EPIC

Work hours:

• Shift: 6:30 PM 7:00 AM (Block Scheduling is never promised or guaranteed)
