Position: RN Interventional Radiology
Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Interventional Radiology for a contract position in Columbus, OH. This is a great opportunity for a dedicated and passionate healthcare professional to join a dynamic team and provide exceptional patient care.
As an RN Interventional Radiology, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care during radiology procedures, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with procedures. You will also be responsible for patient education and providing support to the radiologist and other members of the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients before, during, and after radiology procedures
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Assist with radiology procedures, including positioning patients and operating equipment
- Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
- Educate patients and their families about the procedure and post-procedure care
- Collaborate with the radiologist and other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Active RN license in the state of Ohio
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Knowledge of radiology procedures and equipment
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
