JOB TITLE: RS Senior Aircraft Cabinet Maker - 2nd Shift

Summary:
Fabricate high-quality furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies using stationary and hand tools
Interpret material specifications, design, and engineering drawings to meet customer and engineering requirements
Use a variety of woodworking tools and techniques
Ensure safety, 5S, and housekeeping standards; protect aircraft interiors
Collaborate with lead and senior technicians to implement process improvements (Lean Six Sigma)
Utilize material tracking system for parts demand, squawk tracking, and work sign-offs
Assume lead responsibilities when required; mentor and train junior technicians
Oversee projects and delegate tasks in coordination with lead
Conduct safety audits and maintain shop equipment and JSAs
Coordinate with other backshops as needed
Adapt to schedule changes
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED
4 years of cabinetmaking experience
Aerospace industry experience preferred
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Computer literacy
Able to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, lift up to 40 lbs, and work any shift
Advanced knowledge of cabinetmaking processes and products
Working knowledge of Gulfstream inspection and process specifications preferred
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
