Could you be the full-time Security Officer we’re looking for at the River LINE?

Night shift is 9pm-5am Sunday night to Friday morning

Your future role:
Take on the challenge of ensuring the safety and security of our facilities as a Security Officer, reporting to the Security Team Leader. You will play a critical role in protecting River LINE assets and personnel, performing regular patrols, and enforcing regulations.

Day-to-day, you will:

• Conduct interior and exterior patrols at various locations, including Trenton Layover Facility and Burlington City Yard.
• Protect and monitor all buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Enforce rules and regulations, ensuring a safe environment for occupants and visitors.
• Carry out assigned responsibilities in accordance with directives from the Road Foreman of Engines.

We’ll look to you for:

• Vigorous and attentive patrolling of designated locations.
• Compliance with safety training and ongoing education.
• Commitment to maintaining a secure environment that adheres to established standards.

We value passion and attitude over experience. While we don’t expect you to possess every skill, here are some that will help you succeed and grow in this role:

• A background in security or law enforcement is preferred.
• Valid state driver's license with no drug or alcohol related incidents in the last 36 months
• Physical fitness to conduct extensive patrols and stand or walk for extended periods.
• Ability to enforce regulations in a professional and unbiased manner.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with team members and the public.
• Willingness to undergo specialized training, including safety and emergency response protocols.

Pay Rate: $20/Hr
