What you’ll need to succeed as a Senior Analyst, Linehaul Solutions at XPO

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience 
• 2 years of experience in key functional areas: supply chain management, logistics, decision support systems/technology, transportation management, distribution or procurement functional responsibilities 
• Proficiency in the Microsoft suite of tools.  Including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong communications skills to be able to support cross-functional communication as well as collaboration with senior leaders

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data science, or a supply chain/logistics related area 
• Experience in service center operations or LTL freight experience. 
• Strong project management and analytical skills with a track record of proactively identifying potential issues and formulating solutions and contingency plans. 
• Self-motivated work style; able to set priorities and work independently. 
• Results-driven focus with the ability to analyze, prioritize and act in accordance with ethics and values to achieve desired results.
• An inquisitive and curious mind, driving the desire to understand why and root cause issues
• Understanding of SuccessFactors, Peoplesoft, Kronos, SAP Payroll systems, and visual reporting tools like Google Data Studio and Microsoft PowerBI

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Work directly with operational leaders, linehaul leaders, and the advanced analytics team on P&D, linehaul, and network plans to improve operational performance
• Collaborate across functions to support strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Perform research and create data models to identify and scope opportunities
• Measure, analyze and report on data to identify opportunities and to evaluate effectiveness of initiatives and strategic projects
• Interact with 3rd parties such as Cartage and highway sub-service 
• Function as a subject matter expert for linehaul and operations #LI- Hybrid
