We are looking for a skilled web design expert to be the creative force shaping our digital brand experiences across complex legal, medical, and financial topics.

The Senior II Web Designer, will translate user needs and business objectives into compelling design solutions, providing direct design guidance to stakeholders, and ensuring our web presence elevates trust and engages a broad audience.

This role merges strategic oversight with hands-on execution, empowering you to lead the creative vision while personally designing high-performing web assets.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end design process by scoping project requirements, drafting initial concepts, designing high-fidelity layouts, and executing all day-to-day creative tasks.
  • Guide the digital creative strategy for our brands, translating complex subjects into clear, intuitive, and trusted user experiences.
  • Conduct or leverage user research to create personas, journey maps, and user flows that inform design decisions and advocate for the user's needs in all phases of a project.
  • Guide all phases of design work, from ideation and UX/UI to the final execution of responsive websites and compelling messaging.
  • Personally build high-fidelity, interactive prototypes, full-page layouts, and UI components in Figma, with a focus on creating responsive, accessible, and high-converting experiences.
  • Create, maintain, and evolve our web design systems and digital brand guidelines to ensure scalability, consistency, and creative flexibility.
  • Work closely with marketing, content, and development teams to translate business objectives into measurable, user-centered web experiences, providing clear design direction and effectively articulating design rationale to stakeholders.
  • Prepare clean, dev-ready design files and conduct rigorous design quality checks after handoff to ensure flawless implementation.
  • Use analytics tools like GA4, Clarity, Tableau and Mixpanel to monitor user behavior, quantify impact, and leverage insights for continuous creative improvement.
  • Heavy focus on designing and optimizing user experiences with a strong emphasis on conversion rate optimization (CRO) to ensure designs not only look great but also drive measurable business results.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 8+ years of professional experience in web design, UX/UI, or digital product design.
  • Demonstrated leadership in driving web-focused creative strategy, influencing cross-functional teams, and delivering successful outcomes at a senior level.
  • Expertise in Figma and modern design and prototyping tools.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of user-centered design principles, visual design excellence, and strategic problem-solving.
  • A clear understanding of how to connect design decisions directly to business goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Exceptional ability to present and defend design concepts to a variety of audiences, from developers to executive leadership.
  • Experience in content-heavy, SEO-driven environments, with a talent for making complex information clear and engaging.
  • Proven experience using behavioral analytics to optimize web experiences and drive conversion.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Front-end development skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  • Has a network of freelancers that can be leveraged for contract work.
  • Experience with motion design and micro-interactions to enhance user experience.
  • Previous work in legal, medical, or financial web environments.
Who We Are

At Launch That, we invest in our people, our work, and our community. Founded in 2007 as a bold digital marketing startup, we've grown from two founders in a garage to a thriving team of nearly 100 digital, tech, creative, and content professionals in downtown Orlando.

We cover 100% of the premium cost for employee-only medical coverage for all full-time team members. We also offer 100% employer-paid short- and long-term disability insurance, competitive compensation, paid time off, 20 days of paid parental leave after 90 days, a 401(k)-retirement plan, paid volunteer opportunities, and more! And because we believe in balance, all full-time team members get a paid company-wide holiday break from December 24th to January 1st each year.

Our hybrid work model reflects our dedication to collaboration and flexibility. We have the option of working from home on Tuesdays and Fridays. We come together in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays to maximize creativity, teamwork, and connection. Life is dynamic, so we offer flexibility for the realities of childcare, doctor appointments, and homeownership.

Why Launch That?

What makes us stand out is our people and our drive to excel. Our vision is to build the most valuable digital brands by connecting people to extraordinary resources. Our core talent is exceptional, with many team members having over 10 years of experience in competitive digital industries. We’re a team that’s driven and focused on growth: we push each other to learn, innovate, and accomplish more than we thought possible.

Our culture is built on relationships, collaboration, and shared ambition. We host unique events throughout the year, celebrating our successes and each other. Giving back to the community is a core value, and we regularly donate our time and talents to local causes.

Our state-of-the-art office was designed to fuel creativity and collaboration. Whether it’s grabbing a coffee, taking a break in our game room with Xbox and arcade games, or enjoying our robust snack bar, our workplace reflects our belief that a great environment fosters great work.

If you're looking to grow, be challenged, and make an impact, Launch That offers the culture, community, and drive you need to thrive. Here, we’re always reaching for more, and we’re looking for people who are ready to do the same.
