**Job Requisition ID #** 25WD87531 **Position Overview** We are seeking an **innovative and results-driven** Senior Manager, Software Development Engineering to lead the **Enterprise Data Management (EDM)** engineering team. This team is responsible for building and scaling mission-critical data management platforms, including: + **Customer Data Mastering:** Developing an EDM mastering service for account and contact data to ensure consistency and accuracy across enterprise systems. + **Data Enrichment Platform:** Enriching customer data with external vendor data for deeper insights to enable Autodesk business growth and transformation. + **Core Enterprise Data Products:** Creating high-quality, reusable data products for analytics and operational use across Autodesk teams. As a strategic leader, you will drive technical innovation, mentor high-performing teams, and shape Autodesk's enterprise data strategy. You will work closely with product managers, architects, and business leaders to translate complex business needs into scalable data solutions. **Responsibilities** + Manage and mentor three agile scrum teams consisting of developers, data engineers, and QA engineers. Foster a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous learning + Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and architects to design robust data architectures and influence the strategic roadmap + Oversee the development and deployment of enterprise-grade data platforms, services, products, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance + Guide the design, development, and management of various enterprise level web services and APIs to power internal and external data applications + Champion agile best practices and drive an iterative, high-impact development process + Establish standards for data accuracy, completeness, and consistency to support analytics and operational workflows + Leverage automation, DevOps, and CI/CD practices to streamline engineering operations + Collaborate cross-functionally with software architects, data scientists, and other engineering teams to build best-in-class services, and data products + Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders **Minimum Qualifications** + 10-15 years of experience managing global agile engineering teams, including full-time, contract, and outsourced staff + Deep experience with Master Data Management (MDM), data modeling, large-scale data processing, and data enrichment + Proven track record of designing, developing, and managing web services and APIs in production environments + Familiarity with API management platforms and lifecycle best practices + Expert knowledge of SQL, ETL processes, and experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, Scala, or C++ Strong experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and modern software delivery frameworks + Ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions that deliver value across the enterprise + Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and business stakeholders alike + Exposure to or interest in machine learning, predictive analytics, and AI-driven data platforms is a plus **Why You Should Join Us** + Make a meaningful impact by shaping Autodesk's global data strategy + Work at scale, solving complex data challenges across a large enterprise + Be part of a forward-thinking, innovative data team + Collaborate with some of the brightest minds in engineering, data science, and product development **Ready to Lead the Future of Data?** Join Autodesk and help shape the future of enterprise data at a company that's building the future of design and make. **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk! For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $169,400 and $273,900. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range.
