We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Global Grocery Supply Chain Integration efforts. This role will spearhead the convergence of processes and technology across our worldwide grocery store operations, from source to shelf. The ideal candidate will bring extensive retail, CPG and supply chain expertise to drive transformational change across Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and other grocery formats.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive strategy to harmonize supply chain processes and technologies across all grocery store formats globally.
• Design, implement, and scale pilot programs that demonstrate the effectiveness of unified systems and processes across Whole Foods and Amazon Fresh stores.
• Manage a team of Program Managers and Supply Chain Managers, providing leadership, mentorship, and strategic direction to ensure successful project delivery.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Operations, Technology, Merchandising, and Finance to ensure alignment and buy-in for integration initiatives.
• Develop and track KPIs to measure the success of integration efforts, continuously refining approaches based on data-driven insights.
• Identify opportunities for innovation and efficiency gains throughout the supply chain, from sourcing to last-mile delivery.
• Act as a key liaison between grocery operations and Amazon's core technology teams to leverage enterprise-wide capabilities and solutions.
• Lead change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes and technologies across diverse store environments.
• Provide regular updates to senior leadership on integration progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in manufacturing, retail and/or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
- Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale, complex integration projects.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain operations and technologies.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time to visit store locations and operational sites.
