About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Power Apps Developer to design, develop, and implement custom business applications using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and related technologies. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and the ability to collaborate with various teams. A current secret clearance is required due to the nature of the project.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Develop & Maintain Solutions - Build and optimize applications using Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and related tools.
✅ Collaborate with Teams - Work with business analysts and project managers to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
✅ Data Management - Create and configure data models, entities, and relationships within Microsoft Dataverse (Common Data Service - CDS).
✅ Integrate Systems - Develop custom connectors and integrate applications with RESTful APIs, JSON, XML, and external systems.
✅ Security & Compliance - Implement security measures and ensure solutions align with organizational policies.
✅ Modernization Project - Assist in updating a Java-based application as part of a proof of concept for a government client.
✅ Technical Support - Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring optimal performance.
✅ Stay Current - Keep up with the latest advancements in Power Platform, Azure, and other related technologies.
✅ Mentor & Lead - Provide guidance to junior developers and participate in code reviews.
What We're Looking For
✔ Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (advanced degree or certifications like Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer are a plus).
✔ Experience: At least 5 years of software development experience, with 3+ years focused on Power Apps and Power Automate.
✔ Technical Skills:
Strong proficiency in Power Apps (Canvas and Model-driven apps), Power Automate, Power BI, and CDS.
Experience with Java, RESTful APIs, JSON, XML.
Familiarity with Azure services (Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Azure SQL Database).
Active Secret Clearance required.
✔ Soft Skills:
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
✔ Preferred Skills:
Experience with Java and API integrations.
Knowledge of Oracle Databases.
Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines.
Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
Experience with other low-code/no-code platforms.
