Reports to: Dining Room Manager 

Job Description: Servers primary responsibility is to dedicate themselves to exceeding the expectations of members and coworkers. Servers are required to have food and beverage knowledge, a positive attitude and take an interest in the experience of our membership. Servers work along with our kitchen staff to ensure every member gets their optimal dining experience. Servers are responsible for the setting up and breaking down of, banquet events, and member functions. As the season continues to evolve, the chance to move and learn other areas of the club will be made available. 

Job Duties: 

• Smile and have fun! 
• To report for work punctually, in full uniform
• To establish a working knowledge of the lunch, dinner and bar menu in order to answer any member questions 
• To consistently offer professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all members and their guests 
• To promote and maintain a positive working environment with all coworkers
• To perform all opening, side, and closing duties as well as all daily and weekly duties to the set standards 
• To demonstrate a complete knowledge and understanding of the sequence of service, food and beverage service standards, and all other club service standards 
• To consistently practice the health and safety protocols set up by Forest Lake Country Club 
• To assist members and guests alike in any and all requests or inquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner 
• Carry out any other responsibilities set forth by management pertaining to club cleanliness or service. 

Qualifications: 

• Knowledge of dining and basic understanding of wines/beverages 
• Excellent interpersonal skills, charisma and a team player attitude 
• Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas 
• Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays 
• Previous serving experience
