DESCRIPTION
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for an experienced and passionate Software Engineer to join the AWS Amplify team. AWS Amplify is a full-stack platform designed to simplify the creation, deployment, and management of modern web and mobile applications. You will have the opportunity to shape the user experience for developers building and deploying cloud-powered apps.
Key job responsibilities
- Lead architecture design for large-scale applications, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build intuitive user experiences for developers deploying full-stack web and mobile applications on AWS Amplify.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and help foster a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices, continually improving processes and technologies used in front-end development.
- Participate in the end-to-end deployment lifecycle of features, from ideation to monitoring performance in production environments.

AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (Iot), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS, including support for customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
