Job Description

Parsons is looking for an Entry Level Software Tester to join our team! In this role you will get to collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to create test plans that identify software problems and their causes against software developed for Defensive Cyber Operations.

What You'll Be Doing

• Execute test cases (manual or automated) and analyze results.
• Identify, document, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand project requirements and ensure quality standards are met.
• Assist in creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Perform regression, functional, and usability testing on software applications.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for product improvements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and testing tools.
  
  

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with testing tools and bug-tracking software is a plus.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Salary Range: $62,300.00 - $109,000.00
