Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our dynamic engineering team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality, scalable mobile applications using React Native. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend developers, to deliver seamless user experiences across iOS and Android platforms. As a senior member of the team, you will mentor junior developers, drive technical excellence, and contribute to the overall architecture of our mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Architect, build, and maintain advanced mobile applications using React Native for both iOS and Android platforms.
Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications and user-friendly interfaces.
Optimize application performance, ensuring fast load times, smooth animations, and efficient memory usage.
Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and documentation.
Integrate RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party libraries to enhance application functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring app stability and reliability.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Stay up-to-date with the latest React Native updates, mobile development trends, and emerging technologies.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and workflows.
Qualifications
5+ years of professional experience in mobile app development, with at least 3 years focused on React Native.
Proven track record of delivering production-ready mobile applications to the App Store and Google Play.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, and React Native frameworks.
Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX, or Context API).
Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode, Gradle, and Android Studio.
Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and integrating backend services.
Knowledge of automated testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Detox, or Mocha) and CI/CD pipelines.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
Nice-to-have
Experience with native iOS (Swift/Objective-C) or Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Firebase, or Azure).
Knowledge of performance profiling tools and techniques for mobile apps.
Contributions to open-source projects or a strong portfolio of mobile applications
