The Senior SEO Specialist is responsible for enhancing Vivint's visibility in organic search results through strategic and technical expertise. This role will focus heavily on leading technical SEO initiatives, analyzing performance, and implementing advanced SEO strategies to support the company's long-term goals. The Senior Specialist will collaborate closely with the SEO Director, as well as cross-functional teams, to drive innovative solutions and measurable results.

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits, identifying and resolving site issues such as crawl errors, page speed optimization, and indexation improvements.
• Develop and present comprehensive content and technical SEO strategies, backed by data and insights.
• Research and finalize keyword strategies with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
• Implement and optimize advanced SEO techniques such as structured data (schema markup) and rich snippets.
• Monitor and analyze site performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations to improve organic visibility and conversion rates.
• Collaborate with content, CRO, UX, and other internal teams to align SEO strategy with overall marketing goals.
• Stay ahead of industry trends and algorithm updates, continuously refining strategies to maintain competitive advantage.

Required Skills

• Expertise in technical SEO, including site audits, log file analysis, sitemap management, creating robots.txt directives, structured data, canonicalization, and URL management.
• Strong proficiency with tools such as Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, and Google Search Console.
• Knowledge of rich snippets, schema markup, and other advanced on-page SEO techniques.
• Basic understanding of coding languages such as HTML and Javascript.
• Ability to analyze large data sets and synthesize insights to inform strategy.
• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
• Familiarity with local SEO strategies and optimization techniques.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate recommendations to stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in SEO, with a focus on technical SEO and strategy.
• Experience in project management and related tools.
• Agency experience is a plus but not required.
