Apply strong accounting fundamentals to execute key accounting and financial processes both independently and as part of a team. Execute multiple general ledger accounting processes from end-to-end. Exercise thorough understanding of accruals and debits/credits to prepare monthly journal entries. Conduct thorough reviews and reconciliations of monthly balance sheet accounts with a focus on case reconciliations and related processes. Serve as the liaison between corporate headquarters and geographically distributed field accountants for a portfolio of sites. Collaborate with cross-functional groups, including development of budgets and forecasts. Manipulate and interpret large amounts of data to perform variance analyses. Problem solve and analyze financial data related to assigned areas and accounts. Execute key internal controls and work with auditors during quarterly reviews and annual audits. Position requires a minimum of a bachelors degree in accounting or closely related field of study and one year of experience in job offered or performing similar duties. Experience can have been obtained prior to or while obtaining bachelors degree. Job located in Atlanta, GA and any unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. $55,266 to $74,693/year.
