Position Summary:
Responsible for coordinating and monitoring supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the movement of goods. Pending of local and federal agencies container inspections. Point of contact between, ports, maritime steamship lines, trucking company, warehouse, customer service and purchasing department. Maintaining and monitoring arrival notices, port to port movements and discharge plans. Keeps the lowest levels on demurrage and detention charges and maintains records of container transactions, FTZ administrator.
