Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Travel Counselor to join our Reservations and Customer Service team. In this role, you will work remotely from the comfort of your home, assisting mature travelers with their travel plans while providing outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities:
Provide professional assistance to incoming customer calls for both service and sales inquiries.
Ensure the highest standards of telephone etiquette and communication on all calls.
Make outbound calls for follow-ups such as collections, date consolidations, or customer callbacks.
Maintain and update reservation details in line with company procedures.
Perform administrative tasks including data entry and quality assurance.
Work collaboratively with your team to achieve shared goals and promote a positive work environment.
Engage in team discussions to improve understanding of processes and policies.
Take on additional projects and tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience in a customer service role.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to interact with mature customers in a calm, courteous, and empathetic manner.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced team setting.
International travel experience (outside North America) is a plus.
Call/contact center experience is a bonus.
