Standard: Monday Friday, 07:00 AM 7:30 PM (Three 12-hour shifts/week)
Self-Scheduling Available: 06:30 19:00 | 08:00 20:30 | 10:00 22:30
On-Call Rotation: Every 3rd Weekend
Athena Medtech is seeking a highly skilled PACU Registered Nurse to join our team of dedicated professionals in a dynamic and fast-paced surgical recovery environment. This role requires ICU-level clinical acumen and the ability to care for patients recovering from a wide variety of surgical procedures, including trauma and pediatric cases.
Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and monitor individualized patient care plans.
Accurately observe, record, and report patient conditions.
Act as a key coordinator across interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Follow and execute physician and nursing orders with precision.
Collaborate on discharge planning with the broader healthcare team.
Active RN License (State compliant)
Required Experience:
ICU experience
PACU experience within a Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma Center
Inpatient PACU experience
Pediatric PACU experience
Familiarity with NIH Stroke Scale assessments
Must be able to work in a high-acuity, collaborative care setting
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Effective communication across clinical disciplines
Adaptable and composed in fast-changing, high-pressure environments
