Job Description

The Liberty Hospital Foundation is seeking a reliable, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Assistant to serve as the first point of contact at the TreeHouse, our hospitality house for patients and families here on the Liberty Hospital campus. In addition to warmly welcoming guests, this role includes administrative support for the Foundation team—ideal for someone with front office, hospitality, or executive assistant experience looking to make a difference in a part-time capacity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Greet and check in/check out guests staying at the TreeHouse
• Answer phones, respond to guest and caller inquiries, and direct calls appropriately
• Perform administrative support including filing, data entry, and document organization
• Maintain inventory and order office and guest supplies as needed
• Support the Foundation team with scheduling, email communication, and project coordination
• Provide executive support to leadership, including meeting prep and calendar assistance
• Assist with event logistics, donor mailings, and promotional materials
• Maintain a safe, welcoming, and clean environment for guests
• Offer occasional evening or weekend support as needed (pre-scheduled)

Education/Training:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree a plus

Experience:

• 3–5 years of experience in hospitality, front desk, administrative support, or a customer-facing role preferred
• Experience working with nonprofits, foundations, or healthcare environments a plus

Licensure/Certification/Registration:

• None required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and discretion
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Working Conditions:

• Part-time role based at the TreeHouse on the Liberty Hospital campus
• Standard work hours are 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Monday through Friday on-site
• Occasional evening and weekend shifts as pre-scheduled and needed

Pay Range:

• $16.50 - $17.50 per hour
