Warehouse Associate

The WA is Responsible for receiving, unpacking and storing items received. Processes, verifies, and inventories items received. Assists with shipping and receiving functions. Completes related documentation. Prepares items and finished goods for storage, delivery and tracks inventory levels. Moves items to designated areas in the warehouse.

1. Assists in the effective completion of assigned shipping and warehouse functions.

2. Assists in the effective and timely completion of shipping functions.

3. Assists with Warehouse and receiving functions are completed in accordance with Kane’s policies, procedures, and standards.

4. Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining good communication, coordination and working relations with Company personnel and with management.

5. Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Required experience and qualifications:

• Prior Shipping, Receiving, and/or Inventory control experience is highly desired.
• This position requires extensive physical exertion and strength including but not limited to lifting, bending, use of upper and lower extremities, reaching, walking heavy lifting, standing, and clear communication and listening skills.
• Ability to effectively operate a scan gun, and read and execute information on reports
• Well organized and attentive to detail.
• Ability to lift and handle heavy items (approximately 100lbs or greater)
• Ability to work independently as well as coordinate and work well with others in a team.
• Able to take direction and follow through attend to details
• Able to operate handcart and lift; prior experience with stand-up ROS machines and/or Forklift is highly preferred.
• Ability to work and operate at heights while secured/restrained by safety harness (not fearful of heights).
• Acceptable criminal background check and negative drug test results - Kane's maintains a Drug Free Workplace!
