Web Engineer
Canada/ US - Remote
$70-$75/hr ( DOE)
What You'll Do
Create high-quality, performant products that leverage technologies like React, TypeScript, and CSS-in-JS.
Own and drive features from inception and design to implementation and launch, being the web expert on your team.
Build and improve tools to support Robinhood's operations and platforms, providing leverage across the company.
Collaborate with design and product experts to rapidly iterate and ship financial products.
Build frameworks and abstractions to materially accelerate and empower other developers.
What You Bring
3+ years of full-time professional experience with modern web standards, technologies, and frameworks.
Skilled at writing and efficiently debugging JavaScript in Node and browser environments.
Obsessed with building a best-in-class developer experience.
Have a track record of successfully leading projects and delivering large-scope technical projects at scale.
Constantly setting a high standard for code quality, advocating for best practices in testing, and improving code review processes.
