Position Overview

The Will Call Clerk will be responsible for providing customer service and efficient order fulfillment to independent customers. The Will Call Clerk will interact with independent customers, professionally handling inquiries, resolving issues, coordinating customer order pickup and processing customer payment. The Will Call Clerk will collaborate with Commercial and Procurement teams to fulfil customer orders and understand seasonal offerings of commodity products. The Will Call Clerk will be responsible for using the warehouse voice recognition system and electric pallet jacks to accurately select product per customer order specifications. The Will Call Clerk will also be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming Will Call center.

• Operates electric pallet jack and warehouse voice system to safely and accurately select product from the warehouse to fulfill customer orders
• Take customers orders and input them into the system. Generates invoices for customer and collects payment at time of pickup
• Provide customer service by professionally addressing inquiries and issues, collaborating with Commercial and Procurement teams for order fulfillment
• Maintain clean and safe Will Call area by performing basic housekeeping duties and informing leadership of damaged or leaking product
• Travel Required: No

• Warehouse: Freezer (-20F to 0F)
• Warehouse: Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)

Skills

• Must be able to operate electric pallet jack and or be certified for equipment handling, Computer skills
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math functions.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to handle money, checks, and other media and distinguish between various forms of currency

Years Of Experience

• 0-2: 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting, selecting product with the use of MHE. Prior experience in a customer service and, or cashier roles preferred.
