Wooldridge Creek, a twenty year old winery and vineyard located in the Applegate Valley of Southern Oregon has an opening for a Winemaker/Vineyard Manager.

The Winemaker will be responsible for the full scope of vineyard management as well as wine production including managing custom crush projects,

Key Responsibilities:
* Manage production crush, fermentation, aging, blending, stabilization and bottling.
* Order and maintain supply inventories including packaging, additives and fermentation inputs
* Work with controller to establish annual budget for wine production and vineyard
* Establish and maintain Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs) for production best practices including safety and cleanliness in compliance with all federal, state and local
regulations.
* Complete and file all required taxation reports in a timely manner.
* Perform and oversee lab analysis.
* Manage wine inventory and maintain records for TTB compliance, bonded transfers and traceability.
* Work with vineyard staff to establish schedules for pruning, spraying, fertilizing, mowing, etc. as well as long term vineyard planning and seasonal forecasting.
* Supervise and collaborate with cellar and vineyard staff to create and execute production and harvest schedules.
* Oversee maintenance of production equipment and facilities.
* Manage logistics related to shipping, receiving and inventory control.
* Work with Tasting Room, Wine Club and Marketing Staff to plan 3-year production and barrel programs.
* Assist with wine education, development, staff training and customer questions related to winemaking and viticulture.
* Write and oversee production of quarterly e-letter to Wine Club members and interested parties.
* Oversee label and packaging design as well as product presentation.
* Participate in wine club release parties, special events and winemaker dinners.
