Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled Wound Care Specialist RN to assess, treat, and manage complex wounds and skin conditions in diverse healthcare settings. This role requires expertise in advanced wound care techniques, patient education, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to optimize healing outcomes.

Qualifications:
◆Education: Registered Nurse (RN) degree; additional training in wound care preferred.
◆Licensure/Certifications:
◆Current RN license in New Mexico.
◆Certification in wound care (e.g., Wound Care Certified (WCC), Certified Wound Specialist (CWS).
◆Experience: Proven experience in wound care management, including chronic and acute wounds.
◆Technical Skills: Proficiency in wound assessment, debridement techniques, advanced dressings, and documentation.
◆Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, empathy, patient education skills, and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities:
◆Assess and evaluate wounds (e.g., pressure ulcers, diabetic ulcers, surgical wounds) to determine treatment plans.
◆Perform wound debridement, dressing changes, and application of specialized therapies (e.g., negative pressure wound therapy).
◆Educate patients, families, and caregivers on proper wound care techniques and prevention strategies.
◆Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and physical therapists to coordinate holistic patient care.
◆Monitor and document wound healing progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
◆Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and regulatory standards.
◆Maintain accurate records of wound assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
