Sonar Spark is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Events Assistant to support the planning and execution of various corporate and promotional events. The ideal candidate will assist in event logistics, vendor coordination, and on-site support to ensure seamless operations. This position requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Responsibilities
Assist in coordinating all aspects of event planning, including logistics, venue setup, and vendor management.
Communicate with vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders to ensure event requirements are met.
Support the events team in creating detailed timelines and schedules for successful event execution.
Help manage event registrations, guest lists, and on-site check-ins.
Oversee inventory of promotional materials, supplies, and equipment for events.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Provide on-site support during events, including troubleshooting and last-minute adjustments.
Collaborate with internal teams to align events with overall brand strategy and objectives.
Assist in post-event evaluations to analyze outcomes and suggest improvements
Skills and
Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Previous experience in event planning, coordination, or a similar role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and handle high-pressure situations effectively.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software is a plus.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for events.
